Vijayawada: The three-day SFI State conference would be held at Bhimavaram from December 15 to 17 and it would discuss various important issues like new education policy, FDI in various sectors, introduction of Vastu Sastra, palmistry and other courses in various educational institutions, exam patterns and other issues related to education and employment in the State and country.

SFI State secretary Noor Mohammed told The Hans India that arrangements were underway for the successful conduct of three-day bi-annual conference.

He said that intellectuals, educationists, SFI delegates and political leaders would address the conference.

He said a bicycle rally would be organised on the opening day of the conference on December 15, from old bus stand to new bus stand.

“Education Minister of Kerala, Ravindranath, will be the chief guest and will start the proceedings of the State conference on the opening day,” he added.

On the second day, Professor K Nageswar, Editor The Hans India, will be the chief guest and address the gathering.

On the third and final day of the conference, All India SFI president V C Sanu, SFI secretary Dr Vikram Singh and other members will attend the event.

Noor Mohammed has alleged the TDP Government closed down 300 students’ welfare hostels in Andhra Pradesh with false promise of converting these hostels into residential schools.

He said various State and national issues will come up for discussion during the three day
conference.
