Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu asked the officials to study and introduce Singapore model financial plans for strengthening the State’s economy. Speaking at a review meeting the Finance department, here on Tuesday, he said that Singapore was investigating money abroad as well.He asked the officials to study the possibilities of investments in other States within the country.

Speaking at a review meeting the Finance department, here on Tuesday, he said that Singapore was investigating money abroad as well.

He asked the officials to study the possibilities of investments in other States within the country.

The Chief Minister reviewed the financial condition of State after demonetisation.

The officials said that State’s income dropped by Rs 120 crore in the last month.

On this occasion, Naidu instructed the officials to release Rs 1,400 crore for Irrigation and Municipal departments under non-budget allocation.

Finance Department special chief secretary Ajeya Kallam and several officials were also present.
