Bid to steal hundi cash thwarted

A person identified as Navanitha Krishnan was taken into custody by Tirumala crime police for attempting to steal cash from the hundi of the deity of Vakulamatha in Tirumala temple, on Wednesday.
Tirupati: A person identified as Navanitha Krishnan was taken into custody by Tirumala crime police for attempting to steal cash from the hundi of the deity of Vakulamatha in Tirumala temple, on Wednesday.
According to police, TTD security staff observing the actions of the accused on CC cameras, reacted swiftly and nabbed Krishnan who was subsequently handed over to the police. Krishnan hailed from Sivakasi in Tamil Nadu.
