Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) in association with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and State Bank of India has organised demonstration cum training programme for its officers and employees on cashless transactions here on Wednesday.
Joint Director of STPI M P Dubey explained different digital payment systems and features while the SBI team comprising regional manager M V S S N Srinivasa Prasad and Chief Manager of SBI, port branch M V D Gupta gave a demo on SBI Buddy App.
Port Deputy Chairman P L Haranadhm who was also present, informed this was the first mass digital India initiative taken up by the VPT to train its employees.
