Puttaparthi (Anantapur): Minister for Minorities, Information and IT Palle Raghunath Reddy praised the 30-month rule of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu saying the Chief Minister had fulfilled most of his electoral promises to the people despite the State facing a huge financial crunch.

Speaking at a meeting at Nallamada village in his constituency, here on Wednesday, Palle said that roads were being laid in all 12 Panchayats in his constituency and the problem of drinking water scarcity was also being addressed. He said the biggest achievement of the government was waiving off loans to the tune of nearly Rs 24,000 crore to farmers across the State.

He said it was the Chief Minister’s vision to bring Krishna waters to Rayalaseema through Hundri-Neeva canal and transform the district into a fertile and prosperous land. He said that Rs10, 000 was given to every DWACRA woman as part of their loan waiver.
