Tirupati: The recitation of Andal Sri Goda Tiruppavai and discourse on the famous Vaishnavite literary book containing the Pasurams (poems) will commence on a grand religious note in 168 centres across the country in the auspicious Dhanurmasa on December 16 and conclude on January 13, 2017.
TTD has been organising the recitation and discourse every year as part of its propagation of Bhakti cult. In Tiruppavai, the recitation and discourse will be held in Annamacharya Kalamandiram and will commence on the evening of December 16.
The Andal Sri Goda Devi Pasuram will be recited and explained by renowned Tamil-Sanskrit scholar Sri Chakravarthi Ranganathan every day between 7am and 8am in the city.
