MLC Appa Rao hurt in mishap
Member of Legislative Council Adireddi Appa Rao was injured as the vehicle he was travelling in the convoy of the TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh overturned on Friday. The driver sustained severe injuries in the accident.Â

The accident took place on the national highway when the convoy was coming from Vemagiri and Lala Cheruvu when Nara Lokesh was going to attend mega job mela at Government Art’s College in Rajamahendravaram.
MLC Appa Rao was travelling in the security vehicle in the convoy when the Scorpio overturned. Tension prevailed after the accident as Appa Rao was trapped in the vehicle.
Party workers managed to bring him out of the car and rushed him to a private hospital where he is undergoing treatment and the driver Anil Kumar is being treated for severe head injuries.
However, doctors announced that both were out of danger. TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh, Deputy Chief Minister N Chianarajappa, Rajamahendravaram rural MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary, TDP state organising Secretary Ganni Krishna and other leaders have met Appa Rao and the injured driver in the hospital.
