Rajamahendravaram: A free medical camp is going to be organised under the aegis of NTR Trust, GSL Trust and Spandana Trust in Peda Bheempalli village of agency mandal of Devipatnam in East Godavari today, said Spandana Ganni Krishna, TDP State organising secretary and president of Spandana.

Incidentally, the remote tribal village of Pedda Bheempalli had been adopted by Ganni Krishna. Speaking to the media, Ganni Krishna said that doctors from NTR Trust and GSL medical college would provide free medical services and medicines to
tribals at the camp.

He maintained that expert doctors would conduct medical tests for heart, bones, eyes and other diseases and distribute medicines free of cost.

He made it clear that bloods tests and ECG would be conducted in the medical camp and extensive tests will be conducted in the GSL medical college and hospital, as follow-up action after the medical camp.

He added that steps have been taken to provide free medical tests under NTR Arogya Seva apart from providing free medical tests at GSL hospital.

Speaking on the occasion, administrative officer of GSL College and hospital, Srinivas said that diseases of the patients will be identified in the medical camp and services would be provided for dental, eye and cardiac problems in the GSL hospital.

He further said that awareness would be created on Swine Flu among tribals and preventive medicines would also be distributed. Representative of NTR Trust Sriramamurthy said the trust had organised 5,270 medical camps to date.
