A two-day all India dance festival ‘Amaravati Nrithyotsav’ began at Ghantasala Government Music and Dance College over the weekend. Dancers of Articulate India Group performed Kathak during the ‘Indian Dance Festival’ and brought traditional nuances alive with the performance.

A two-day all India dance festival ‘Amaravati Nrithyotsav’ began at Ghantasala Government Music and Dance College over the weekend. Dancers of Articulate India Group performed Kathak during the ‘Indian Dance Festival’ and brought traditional nuances alive with the performance.
Another performance by ‘Gurukeerti Institution’ group featured Odissi dance that was enjoyed by the audience to the fullest. Tara Priyadarshini and Shaly Vijaya brought cultural flair alive with their Bharathanatyam performance.
The highlight of the event was the performance by children who, in their colourful outfits, were a picture of indigenous pride for art lovers in the city. The programme will be from 6pm to 8pm on Monday as well.
