Commercial tax officials raid bullion merchants

Eluru: The Commercial Tax department officials conducted raids on Bullion merchants in Eluru on Monday. The Commercial tax team reached the I Town main bazaar in two cars in the morning. They initially swooped down on five bullion shops and it went for an hour near Watchtower centre.

The officials with the help of local police reached the Watchtower centre to conduct raids. Following the raids of the Commercial Tax officials, some bullion merchants closed their shutters for the day.
