Fulfilled assurances to be deleted
P Venkatesh, Chairman of Committee on Government Assurances, directed the officials to give proper replies to the questions raised by the MLAs in the Assembly.
Guntur: P Venkatesh, Chairman of Committee on Government Assurances, directed the officials to give proper replies to the questions raised by the MLAs in the Assembly.
He conducted a review meeting with the district administration in the Collectorate on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the out of 13 assurances, the officials had fulfilled 7 promises and added that they would delete the fulfilled assurances from the record.
He instructed the officials to give a report on pending assurances. Stating that teachers were harassing girl students in government schools, he instructed the officials take steps to prevent such incidents.
MLAs Kona Raghupathi, Jogeswara Rao, district collector Kantilal Dande, district revenue officer K Nagababu and Assurances Committee assistant secretary Kameswari were among those present.
