Kakinada: YSRC, Kakinada city coordinator Mutta Sasidhar demanded a white paper on spending of smart city funds allocated post smart city tag.
Addressing the dharna organised by the party activists at the main gate of Municipal Corporation office, here on Monday, he said that as per the details available the civic body has been allocated funds to the tune of Rs 2,000 crore.
He demanded to know how these funds were being spent as due consideration and importance should be given to round-the- clock protected and purified water supplies, besides underground drainage and power lines systems.
Heintends to intensify agitation if the authorities fail to comply with their demands. Party leaders and activists participated in large numbers.
