Vijayawada: Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam executive officer Surya Kumari inaugurated the Bhavani Deeksha Viramana ritual on a grand note after the completion of the ‘Agni Pratistha’ to ‘homagundalu’ at Indrakeeladri in the city on Tuesday.
Temple authorities provided four queue lines from Vinayaka temple to Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam for Bhavani pilgrims to reduce the extra rush at queue lines.
Bhavani Deeksha Viramana is continuing for five days from Tuesday onwards at the Indrakeeladri and temple authorities are expecting nearly eight lakh Bhavani pilgrims for Deeksha Viramana. They also provided free darshan to the all Bhavani devotees.
