International Dance Festival from Dec 23
Chairman of Kuchipudi Natyarama Kuchibotla Anand on Tuesday inspected the arrangements of the International Dance Festival at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium which will be held from December 23 to 25.
Vijayawada: Chairman of Kuchipudi Natyarama Kuchibotla Anand on Tuesday inspected the arrangements of the International Dance Festival at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium which will be held from December 23 to 25.
Natyarama chairman Anand, Krishna District Collector Babu A, Vijayawada Municipal Corporation Commissioner G Veerapandian, Joint Collector Gandham Chandrudu and others inspected the arrangements. Andhra Pradesh Language and Cultural Department and Siliconandhra will organise the mega event for three days in the city. Nearly 6,000 dancers will be attended the International Dance Festival.
Speaking on the occasion, Kuchibotla Anand said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will attend the International Dance Festival.
Krishna District Collector said that police and other officials have been coordinating with each other for the success of the programme. Drinking water, medical facility will be provided for the convenience of the spectators in the gallery, he added.
Help desk will be started at Vijayawada railway station for the convenience of artistes, he added. Vijayawada sub-collector Salomi, Central Zone ACP N Satyanandam and others were present.
