Students, teachers injured in mishap

At least 10 students, two teachers and a cook sustained severe injuries when the bus they were travelling met with a road accident near Reddypalli in Sanjamala mandal on Tuesday morning.
Kurnool: At least 10 students, two teachers and a cook sustained severe injuries when the bus they were travelling met with a road accident near Reddypalli in Sanjamala mandal on Tuesday morning.
The mishap took place while the students and the staff of Zilla Parishad school of Uddehal village in Bommanahal mandal, Anantapur district were on a pleasure trip to Yaganti and Ahobilam and other places in Kurnool district. The speeding bus while trying to avoid an oncoming vehicle lost control and landed on its side.
The bus belongs to a private travel agency. The injured were admitted to government hospital at Koilkuntla. Kurnool deputy DEO called on the victims in the hospital.
