Visakhapatnam: Wife of well-known TV artiste Chadalavada Ramesh’s (Potti Ramesh) committed suicide in the late hours of Monday at Gajuwaka area of the city. The deceased, Tripurambika (22), a native of Nellore, was married to Ramesh last year in December. Gajuwaka CI Immanuel Raju said Tripurambika has been living with her husband, in-laws and sister-in-law and her husband in Srinagar Colony of Gajuwaka. She took this extreme step when Ramesh was away from home in Hyderabad for shooting a TV serial on Monday.
When Ramesh’s parents observed their daughter-in-law hanging from the ceiling fan in her room, they immediately informed the Gajuwaka police. The police rushed her to a private hospital at Gajuwaka where doctors declared her brought dead. The Gajuwaka police shiftred the body to the KGH mortuary for post-mortem.
After Ramesh’ arrival in Vizag, police enquired him as to the cause of the suicide. Speaking to the reporters, Ramesh said that there were no conflicts between them and found no reason for her to end life.
