Chandrababu urges Collectors to resolve issues of demonetization

Continuing the Andhra Pradesh Collectors Summit held in Vijayawada on Thursday, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu interacted with the Collectors and discussed various issues including the impact of demonetization along with the need for cashless transactions.

Taking feedback from the Collectors, Chandrababu suggested measures for the state to implement demonetization. The Collectors raised concerns regarding the issues of technology, farmers approach and the banks while the Chief Minister urged them to explore methods to resolve the problems obstructing the scheme.

Speaking on the protective measures of harvested crop during Rabi, he asked for the use of Rain gun in maximum numbers in order to wet the land as per the requirements in the area.

Chandrababu also asked the Collectors to work beyond the expectations and with a commitment. Particularly when it concerns the water requirement, he urged the collectors should work in mutual co-operation by shifting waters to the required areas.
