Gonegandla: MP Butta Renuka here on Wednesday asked the SBI Manager of Gonegandla to arrange separate queues for senior citizens for cash disbursal.

She checked with men and women standing in queue at the bank about the hardship they are facing on account of demonetisation.

“There are 50,000 accounts in SBI, Gonegandla. The people and the bank officials have been facing abnormal difficulty as the RBI isn’t disbursing sufficient currency”, she said.

She called up the regional manager (RM) over phone requesting him to bring Rs 500 notes forthwith into circulation.

She assured both the bank officials and the account holders that their existing problems would be taken to the notice of the RBI officials and the
