Mayor opens Aadhaar centre

Nellore: City Mayor Sk Abdul Aziz formally inaugurated Aadhaar centre at Kondayya Dibba Colony in the 3rd division on Wednesday and interacted with the residents and received their grievances. He asked the sanitation staff to maintain hygiene conditions in the colony.

Mayor also said that about 750 families have been residing in the colony and SC/ST families were facing difficulties as they were unable to get benefit from the welfare schemes of the State government due to lack Aadhaar cards.
Aziz said that about Rs 5 crore has been allocated for development of the colony and announced that 100 community toilets were sanctioned to the colony.
