More YSRCP MLAs heading towards TDP

Ruling TDP party resumed Operation Akarsh as elected representatives of Opposition YSR Congress are likely to join the party.

Addressing the media, TDP President K Kala Venkat Rao on Thursday that few YRSCP elected representatives will be joining the party to ensure their constituencies development.

Responding to MP JC Diwakar Reddy's comments, he said that TDP won't entertain any in-disciplinary activities.

YSRCP seems to be having a setback as MPs and MLAs have already defected into TRS in Telangana and the same is being repeated in Andhra Pradesh also.

The party had bagged 67 seats in the 175 member AP assembly during the 2014 general elections and became the Opposition party, however, now 20 MLAs have already defected to TDP.
