YSRCP organises blood donation camp

Kurnool: Marking the birth anniversary of YSR Congress Party Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the district party In-Charge Hafeez Khan on Wednesday organized a blood donation camp at Royal Function Hall.

Aound 100 persons donated their blood voluntarily to the cause of the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Hafeez Khan decried that the BJP-led NDA government has failed to mitigate the financial woes of people who are reeling under the effect of Modi’s
demonetisation move.

Narendra Modi’s hasty decision has resulted in scores of deaths of innocent people, Hafeez Khan criticised.

He decried that no concrete steps have been taken by the Modi government towards increasing cash supply to the banks.

Expecting the public to go for cashless transactions is a big farce, commented the YSRCP district in-charge.

The present dispensation in the state equally needs to be blamed for the present situation as pensions to the aged persons have not yet been distributed.

The hapless aged community is running from pillar to pocket mere Rs 1, 000.

The situation is so grave that recently a woman met with death for not getting her pension at Dhone, he lamented.

Further, the NTR
Aarogya Sree Scheme is also not being implemented effectively.

People were far happy with YS Rajasekhara Reddy government, he recollected. Kothakota Prakash Reddy said people are waiting for opportune time to teach a good lesson to the government in the 2019 elections.

In addition to the blood donation camp, free medical and dental check-up facilities too were provided for the benefit of 150 women.

Poor women were distributed with sarees.

YSR Congress Party leader Surendra Reddy, Dr Sadik, Dr Rehan Ali Khan, activists along with party supporters participated in the programme.
