Humsafar Express to start from X-Mas
As per the announcement in the Railway Budget, the Humsafar weekly express between Kamakhya and Bengaluru Cantt will be introduced from December 25 and would start tentatively at 12.15 pm from Kamakhya.
​Visakhapatnam: As per the announcement in the Railway Budget, the Humsafar weekly express between Kamakhya and Bengaluru Cantt will be introduced from December 25 and would start tentatively at 12.15 pm from Kamakhya.
Senior divisional commercial manager M Yelvender Yadav said on Thursday that on the inaugural day, the train will run as a special train with No.02504, it will leave Kamakhya at 12.15 pm to reach Vizianagaram on December 26 at 7.30 pm and Duvvada at 9.45 pm. It will reach the destination Bangaluru on December 27 at 5 pm.
The regular run of train No 12503 Bengaluru Cantt- Kamakhya Humsafar weekly would be on Fridays from December 30 and No.12504 Kamakhya-Bangaluru Humsafar weekly would be on every Tuesdays from January 3.
Train No. 12504 Kamakhya-Bangaluru Humsafar weekly express will leave Kamakhya on every Tuesday at 8.10 pm to reach Vizianagaram in the early hours of Thursday at 1 am and Duvvada at 3.03 am to arrive at Bengaluru on the same day at 9.15 pm.
In return direction, Train No. 12503 Bengaluru Cantt- Kamakhya Humsafar weekly express will leave on Fridays at 10.15 am to reach Duvvada on Saturdays at 4.40 am and Vizianagaram at 6.25 am. It will reach Kamakhya on Sundays at 1.30 pm.
Yelvender Yadav informed that the pair of trains will have stoppages at New Bangaigoan junction, new Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Malda town, Rampurhat, Howrah, Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Berhampur, Vizianagaram, Duvvada, Vijayawada, Perambur, Katpadi and Whitefiled.
