Vamsi moots RDO office at Gannavaram

Vijayawada: Gannavaram MLA Vallbhaneni Vamsi Mohan mooted for setting up of new revenue division office at Gannavaram which has been developing as an industrial area.

He is planning to send proposals to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in this regard.

It may be noted that the TDP MLA secured first rank in the district and sixth in the State among 175 MLAs which was announced by the Chief during a two- day Collectors’ conference in the city recently.

In this connection, The Hans India spoke to the MLA Vamsi during the TDP Jana Chaitanya Yatralu at Pathapadu village in Vijayawada rural mandal.

Gannavaram RDO office should be set up with Gannavaram, Unguturu, Bapulapadu, Vuyyuru, Pamidimukkala, Agripalli and Vijayawada rural mandals, he said.

At present Gannavaram comes under Nuzividu revenue division, he pointed out.

The MLA said that the government has sectioned Rs150 crore to Gannavaram constituency for development works.

Proposals were sent to the government for the construction of Primary Health Centres (PHC) buildings at Gannavaram, Unguturu, Bapulapadu and Nunna, he said. Development works would be taken up in a phased manner, he said.
