Vijaya Bank launches new branch at Chinthagumpally
Ongole: Vijaya Bank executive director B S Rama Rao inaugurated the bank’s 2010th branch at Chinthagumpally here on Saturday. With this, the bank has seven branches in the district. B S Rama Rao talking to the media, he said: “Country-wide they have more than 2,000 branches with 14 million customers.
We have Rs 1,27,785 crore deposits and Rs 91,821 crore loans and total business turnover was Rs 2,19,606 crore.
We have 195 branches, 182 ATMs in the two Telugu States with Rs 10,858 crore deposits and Rs 7,912 crore loans.
In all, the bank has achieved Rs 18,770 crore business.

New branch at Nagarapalem inaugurated
Guntur: Vijaya Bank Executive Director B.S. Rama Rao inaugurated bank’s 2009 branch at Nagarapalem here on Saturday.
With this, the bank has fifteen branches in the district, 62nd branch in the region and third branch in city.
“After demonetisation, Vijaya bank ahead of others in serving the public. In the field of information technology, we are providing Vnet, e-lobby, united payments interface equally with other banks.
As part of corporate social responsibility, we are spending 0.50 p.c. on each ATM transaction made by customers,” Vijaya Bank Executive Director
Vijayawada regional head Shivaiah, deputy general manager S Kantha Rao, assistant general manager Baji Shaik and others attended the programme.
