City boys excelled in School Games Federation of India (SGFI) Sepak Takraw inter-district championship at RSR Municipal School in SPS Nellore district recently.
City boys excelled in School Games Federation of India (SGFI) Sepak Takraw inter-district championship at RSR Municipal School in SPS Nellore district recently. Students of SKPVV Hindu High School (Gandhinagar) Dasari Satish, D Daniel Raju, D Eswar and B Sai Kumar represented the Krishna district team in Under-14 boys and girl teams. The Krishna team stood third in the tournament.
According to Hindu High School Physical Education Teacher (PET) S Ramesh, Dasari Satish has been selected for Andhra Pradesh team. The team would participate in SGFI Sepak Takraw Nationals, which will be in New Delhi from January. Hindu High School head master NV Girija congratulated the players at school campus, Gandhinagar in the city on Monday. She presented shield and certificates to them.
