Visakhapatnam: GITAM University is hosting 53rd annual convention of chemists organised by Indian Chemical Society from December 27. Around 400 delegates including several top Indian scientists are participating in this convention.
GITAM University Vice-Chancellor Prof. MS Prasada Rao said the Indian Chemical Society has been organising Annual Convention of Chemists every year in collaboration with the Institution of Chemists (India).
The VC said that distinguished speakers would deliver lectures luring the 53rd Annual Convention of Chemists. “Oral and poster presentations by younger chemists are arranged and some of the papers published at the convention will be selected for convention awards,” he informed.
