Kakani dares Somireddy for open debate
Nellore: YSR Congress District Convener and Sarvepalli legislator Kakani Govardhan Reddy said he was ready to quit politics if his allegations against TDP MLC Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy were found to be false. Speaking to the media on Monday, Kakani reiterated his allegations that Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy had amassed huge properties overseas.
Nellore: YSR Congress District Convener and Sarvepalli legislator Kakani Govardhan Reddy said he was ready to quit politics if his allegations against TDP MLC Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy were found to be false.
Speaking to the media on Monday, Kakani reiterated his allegations that Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy had amassed huge properties overseas.
Stating that Somireddy was yet to respond even five days after the allegations were levelled against him, Kakani accused the former of trying to skirt the issue and use his influence with Central Ministers to cover his financial irregularities.
He also said Somireddy was trying to get back at him by implicating him in false cases and dared Somireddy to an open debate on the issue.
Kakani said a visit to Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore along with a team of experts from banking, auditing and other departments would substantiate his claims that Somireddy had amassed huge properties there.
