Student-gang of bike thieves nabbed
Nellore: Kota police nabbed 8 thieves on Monday who were college students and addicted to a lavish lifestyle and seized 31 motorcycles worth Rs 24 lakh from them. The accused have been identified as Y Ramprakash, P Pavan Kalyan, P Sreenivasulu, P Chaitanya, P Jaswanth, B Sreenivasulu, K Venkaiah, and Katti Bharath, between the age group of 19 and 22 years.

The accused have been identified as Y Ramprakash, P Pavan Kalyan, P Sreenivasulu, P Chaitanya, P Jaswanth, B Sreenivasulu, K Venkaiah, and Katti Bharath, between the age group of 19 and 22 years.
They used to steal bikes at various places across the district including Gudur, Nellore, Kota, Sullurpet and Tada areas.
According to Gudur Sub-Divisional Police Officer B Srinivasulu, acting on a tip-off, Kota Police along with Vakadu and Chittamur police personnel conducted searches and nabbed the accused and seized 31 motor cycles from them at Kesavaram forest area.
A manhunt for another four accused is on. Vakadu Circle Inspector P Akkeswar Rao, Kota SI G Ajay and Chittamur police personnel were present.
