ASI bags gold medal in yoga competition

Visakhapatnam: Mani Kumari, who is working as an ASI in Chodavaram police station in the district, bagged gold medal and a citation in the 30th State Yoga Championship-2016 conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Yoga Association at Bapatla in Guntur district on December 24 and 25.
The ASI took part in the Open Yoga competition from Vizag district in 40-50 age group. Not only she secured gold medal, but also qualified to participate in the National Yoga Competitions to be held in Bengaluru.
Mani Kumari also secured first place in the Uttarandhra Yoga Competitions held recently at Narsipatnam this month.
