‘Ensure PDF candidates win’
United Teachers Federation (UTF) and State Teachers Union (STU) leaders called on the teachers to work for the victory of PDF
Tirupati: United Teachers Federation (UTF) and State Teachers Union (STU) leaders called on the teachers to work for the victory of PDF candidates including V Balasubramanayam, Y Srinivasulu Reddy and Kathi Narasimha Reddy contesting in the MLC elections.
The leaders including the presidents of UTF and STFI Venkateswarlu and Shanmurthy addressed a meeting of teachers from the districts of Prakasam, Nellore, Kadapa and Chittoor here on Wednesday, in which contesting candidates also attended. Venkateswarlu and Shanmurthy stressed on electing PDF candidates to safe guard the State-run schools and colleges.
They warned that the government educational institutions would be in peril, if the candidates backed by corporate and ruling TDP were elected and urged the teachers to work with renewed vigor for the victory of Balasubramanyam, Srinvisulu Reddy and also Narasimha Reddy.
