Inspector of Kothavalasa Sanjeeva Rao, the minor girl hailing from Kallepalli village in Kothavalasa mandal was studying VI Class in Jindal
Bharathi Vidya Mandir. She boarded a share auto-rickshaw at Tummikapalli junction to reach her village.
When the auto reached Musiram village, driver Ramaswamy, who hails from Lakshmipeta village in L Kota mandal, tried to rape her, but the girl
resisted his attempt. But he caught hold of her head and banged against the wall. However, she escaped from his clutches and told her parents
after the village about the incident. Later, they lodged a complaint with police. Based on the complaint, police arrested Ramaswamy.
