Regularise contract lecturers: Raghuveera
Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president N Raghuveera Reddy on Thursday said that the State government should regularise the contract lecturers in the government Joiner, Degree and Polytechnic colleges and must execute their reasonable demands.Â

The Congress leader wrote the letter to the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu here on Thursday. In his letter, he condemned the State government’s unlawful actions on contract lecturers.
He said that the State government was giving the notices to the college’s principals for removing contract lecturers from colleges.
“Contract lecturers had been waiting from 30 months for regularising them in government colleges as the Telugu Desam government had promised in their 2014 election manifesto.
He also said that the State government must pay the basic and DA to the contract lecturers.
