Vijayawada: CPM State secretary P Madhu demanded Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to tell people what action he would initiate against Human Resource Development Minister Ganta Srinivas for his failure to repay loans to Indian Bank.

In a press release here on Friday, Madhu questioned the silence of Chief Minster on the issue that the Indian Bank attached properties of Ganta Srinivasa Rao for his failure to repay a loan of Rs 141 crore.

“It is unfortunate that a Minster too became a bank defaulter. The Chief Minister, who always speak about sincerity and transparency in public life, should answer people why he is keeping mum on the issue of his Cabinet colleague,” Madhu questioned.

He said people would not tolerate such persons to continue in the Cabinet and it was pitiful to speak about clean government while the bank defaulters were continuing as the Ministers.
