Krishna District cyclists make their way to Wagha Cycle Yatra

A 14 member team participate in Delhi–Wagha Cycle Yatra

Active Bicyclers Association (ABA) cyclers will be participated Cycle Yatra which will conducted by Delhi University students for creating awareness among the people on cycling and walking, for the care of healthy livelihood.

The Cycle Yatra begins from Delhi to Wagha boarder from January 1 to 9. Total 50 persons would have participated in the yatra for the sake of environment from the pollution and for National Integrity.

A fourteen member team left the city for Cycle Yatra led by V Satyanarayana of ABA general secretary. This association has been creating awareness among the city people on cycling, walking for save the city from pollution. The association decided that to give moral support to Delhi University students for their Yatra. So, the fourteen member’s team has left the Vijayawada city on Thursday.

Speaking to The Hans India ABA general secretary V Satyanarayana said that the nine days Cycle Yatra would travel about 500 kilometers. The Yatra will go through Panipat, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Kurukshetra, Chattisgarh, and Amrithsar, he said.

“We are very happy to participate in National Integrate proramme along with Delhi University students. It is too proud for Telugu people and it is chance to creating awareness among the people on environment and pollution” he added.

The Krishna District Youth Welfare Officer (DYWO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) K Mohan Kumar has been encouraging the cyclist for conducting various awareness programmes in the city. He gave inspiration to his team to participate in the Delhi to Wagah Cycle Yatra, he explained.
