APCSA demands scrapping of GO 1186

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Civil Services Association (APCSA) leaders have demanded that the State government immediately scrap GO No 1186 alleging that the GO was detrimental to the interests of Deputy Collectors as the number of Deputy Collector posts would be slashed in the State.

At a meeting on Saturday, the Association leaders deliberated on the problems being faced by more than 250 deputy collectors across the State.

APCSA president P Babu Rao said that nearly half the deputy collectors would suffer huge losses and many of them would lose their seniority and posts due to implementation of the recently released GO No 1186.
