It is indeed unfortunate that old-aged politicians do not wish to do away with their lust for power politics.

It is time that an upper age-limit of say 65 years may be fixed to contest any direct election.

With recent happenings in political tussle in ruling Samajwadi Party in UP, it becomes necessary even to set up such an upper age-limit for holding posts in recognised political parties.

It is indeed an irony that aged politicians claim their supremacy in the affairs of party and the government only because they earlier might have once set up the party like a business-firm.
