Ex-gratia given to kin of blast victims

Later, the Minister handed over cheques of Rs 5 lakh apiece as ex-gratia under Chandranna Bima scheme to the families of the deceased. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said a six-member team of specialist doctors has been deployed for treating those injured in the blast on Saturday. City mayor Aziz, Collector Mutyala Raju and joint collector Imtiyaz also accompanied the Minister.
Nellore: AP Municipal Minister P Narayana, District Collector Mutyala Raju and other officials, on Sunday, participated in the funeral of Yatagiri Nagaraj and Lakshmaiah who died in the blast at the illegal cracker unit on Sunday. It may be recalled that Yatagiri Nagaraj and Lakshmaiah died on spot charred to flames.
