On Monday, despite stiff resistance from the locals, the Endowments department staff successfully managed to demolish the illegal structures and evict the encroachers. 

Vizianagaram: Endowment department staff demolished the encroachments at Mannar Rajagopala Swamy temple at Vizianagaram town on Monday. The executive officer and staff of the temple had observed that one and a half acre of the temple land was encroached and huts and shops had come up there. Subsequently, notices were issued to the public who were residing there and the shops to vacate the land.
