Inspire Science camp from Jan 5

Vijayawada: The department of Science and technology of Kakaraparti Bhavanarayana College (KBN) is organising a five-day internship science camp titled ‘Inspire’ for Intermediate students from January 5 at the college premises, said SVSM Rajith Kumar, secretary and Correspondent of KBN. Speaking to the media on Monday, he said that students studying Intermediate at any college in Andhra Pradesh can apply to participate in the workshop and 150 students would be shortlisted based on their 10th class merit, for the internship science work shop. They would be given free lodging and boarding throughout the camp which would be conducted 24 x 7, he said.

Resource persons from all over India would guide the students in the workshop. Prof SK Dogra, Dean IISER Bhopal, Dr V Sridhar EGCAR Kalpakam, Dr BN Reddy, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Dr PC Swaroop, CV Reddy college, Eluru, Prof P Lolandaivel, Bharathiyar Universuty, Coimbatore, Dr M Satyanarayana KGRLM college Bhimavaram, Prof P Konda Swamy, Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore, Prof M Periasamy, Central University Hyderabad, Prof V Kannan, University of Hyderabad, Prof BL Deekshitulu, University of Hyderabad and Dr M Krishnamurthy, Varsity Education Management Limited, Mumbai would be present.Dr V Narayana Rao, Principal, Dr V SubhashinI HOD, zoology and IQAC coordinator, Johnson, Ramesh and Panduranga Rao of KBN College were present.
