Eluru: The 4th phase of Janmabhoomi programme that kicked off in various places of West Godavari district on Monday witnessed the distribution of assets and speeches of MLAs and Ministers.The Minister for Mines, Women and Child Welfare Peethala Sujatha inaugurated the Janmabhomi-Maa Vooru 4thphase programme at Chintalapudi village.

She said that the government has to disburse 4 lakh new pensions during the Janmaboomi programme and added that as a part of this, about 48,000 new ration cards are being distributed to the beneficiaries in West Godavari district.She said that under NTR Bharosa pension about Rs.6,000 crores are disbursing as pensions to 43.59 lakh people and out of this 3.50 lakh pensions are disbursing in West Godavari alone.

She also said that about 30,000 new pensions are disbursing in West Godavari district in addition to the earlier pensions amd the government is taking necessary steps to provide gas connections to every household by June this year.She stated that almost all the representations received during the last three Janmabhoomi programmes have been cleared and remaining will be cleared soon.

The Minister said that the State government has prepared a new app to solve the grievances received from any village and all the grievances will be uploaded in this app for clearance.She claimed that during the last two and half years tenure Rs.300 crores have been spent to develop the Chintalapudi Constituency. She directed mandal tahsildar to identify the government vacant sites to distribute as house sites to eligible beneficiaries in the Chintalapudi Mandal.

She distributed the Scholarships and insurance claims under Aam Admi Yojana, Janasri Yojana and Chandranna Bhima. As a part of the Janmabhoomi programme, she distributed the nutrition food to the mother and child.ZPTC member Talluri Radharani, MPP R Dasari Ramakka, RDO N Tejbharath, Tahsildar Maikel Raju, MPDO Raja Sekhar and others participated.

In Eluru, MLA Badeti Kota Ramarao (Bujji) started Janmabhoomi programme in MRC Colony in 1st division.Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that a marriage hall with a cost o Rs.25 lakhs will be constructed in MRC colony in 1st division.He regretted that at present the poor people are performing the marriages and functions on the roads due to lack of any community or marriage halls in this area.

He stated that during last two years, about Rs.1.50 crores have been spent on the development of 1st division. He said in Eluru city about 2,000 new pensions have been disbursed to the beneficiaries in addition to the earlier 20,000 people.He also said that in a phased manner the remaining eligible people will also get the pension. He said that steps have been taken up to eradicate the pig menace in the city and the pig breeders requested for time to shift the pigs from the city.

He warned that after March 1st, the officials take action against the pig breeders if any pig found in the city.In Palacole, MLA Nimmala Ramarao, MLC Angara Ramamohan inaugurated the Janmabhomi programme in AVSNM High School in 2ndward. The MLA and MLC distributed the Sankranthi Chandranna Kanuka essential commodities kits to the beneficiaries.

The duo also disbursed the Abhayahastam scholarships and white ration cards to the beneficiaries. Palacole Municipal Chairman Vallabhu Narayana Murthy, Vice Chairman Karneni Rojaramani, Municipal Commissioner K Sai Ram, DEE B Narasimha Rao and others participated in the inaugural meeting of Janmabhoomi.

In Kovvuru, MLA KS Jawahar participated in the Janmabhoomi programme in the first ward of Kovvuru Municipality. He distributed the ration cards and LED Bulbs to the eligible persons. Municipal Chairperson J RadharaniVice Chairman D Raja Ramesh J Subbaraya Chowdary, Commissioner T Nagendra Kumar and others participated in the programme.
