MP assures support to Kapus

Mudragada met the MP as a part of Kapu Nadu resolution to seek support of elected representatives to Kapu quota. The MP agreed with Mudragada about the poverty in the Kapu social section.The Kapu leader reminded that they are not making any fresh demand but to restore the quota which was in force from 1961 to 1966.
Kakinada: Telugu Desam Party Lok Sabha member P Ravindra Babu on Monday assured support to Kapu quota.He gave assurance to Kapu Nadu leader Mudragada Padmanabham who called on him on Monday at his camp office in Kakinada.The MP, who is a former bureaucrat of IRS cadre discussed various issues relating extension of reservation to Kapus.

He brought to the notice of MP that the late D Sanjivayya as Chief Minister of combined State extended the same.The MP said that his Amalapuram constituency has large number of Kapu population besides SCs.Ravindra Babu on this occasion strongly advocated for reservations in private sector as the employment in government sector had been curtailed due to different reasons.
