SMC to go in for PPP works
All development works which are being funded by the central government under the Amrut scheme would be taken up under PPP mode. Srikakulam: Water supply, construction of amusement parks etc in Srikakulam would be taken up under public-private-participation (PPP) mode by the Srikakulam Municipal Corporation (SMC). This is the first time that the Corporation would be undertaking works on a PPP mode. State government consultants for PPP mode Kethan Badani, H Venugopal and G Harikrishna toured the district on Monday and discussed various development works with municipal engineer G Venkateswara Rao.
