Congress MP demands white paper on Polavaram project
Congress RajyaSabha MP KVP Ramachandra Rao criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu heavily for taking the whole credit for Polavaram project.
Congress RajyaSabha MP KVP Ramachandra Rao criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu heavily for taking the whole credit for Polavaram project.
Demanding white paper on the progress and expenditure of the project, the Congress MP made a jibe at Chandrababu saying that the latter is suffering from Alzheimers Disease and is in need of medical care.
He further said that neither Chandrababu nor the TDP government contributed in the progress of Polavaram, instead stall the project repeatedly.
Questioning the Chief Minister as to why measures were not taken to complete the project since 1983, KVP lambasted Chandrababu for managing to obtain only Rs.1800cr from NABARD in the past three years.
He released a letter elaborating on the details and contribution of YS Rajasekhara Reddy and Congress party.
