Models Divya and Poorna showcased the traditional silk handloom Saris and a poster was launched in this regard. Speaking on the occasion Manjunath said that various silk sari weavers, handloom clusters and silk cooperative societies would showcase their products.

He said the customers who visit the Expo can buy the products directly from the weavers. About 65 stalls would display on the expo to attract Pongal festival customers.

In the expo one can find hand block print saris, suits, silk bed covers, designer ware and border, laces, kurtis, hand woven matka, Assam muga fabrics, Aoorva silk saris,

Baluchuri saris, embroidered designer silk saris, dress materials, Bhagalpur suits, printed silk saris, Reshmi plain and butti saris, Karnataka silk saris, Maheswari, Chanderi silk saris and suit, kota silk, Mulberry silk with temple border, Banaras jamdani, hand-woven saris and many more on display, he added.
