She stated that Janmabhoomi programme is a non-political forum and all political leaders can
participate in it.

The MLA participated in Janmabhoomi programme held at Kattamanchi here on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Satyaprabha reiterated that the TDP government has been committed for the uplift of poor and weaker sections of the society.

The State government wants to ensure the opportunities for unemployed so that each family can earn more than Rs 10,000 per month.

The MLA further said that government would distribute new ration cards and old-age pensions for the eligible beneficiaries in the ongoing Janmabhoomi programme.

She stated that the government is giving equal priority for all religions in the State by distributing gifts for festivals. She enlisted the various achievements of the TDP government in the last two-and-a-half years.

With regard to the development of Chittoor city, Satyaprabha said that the Chief Minister and district in-charge Minister P Narayana were committed for developing Chittoor as a model city on par with Tirupati.

In-charge Mayor P Subramanayam said that civic body is making serious efforts to develop all the existing parks and tanks in the city.

“Kattamanchi tank would be developed as a tourist spot with the support of the AP Tourism Development Corporation at a cost of Rs 2.75 crore,” he added.


The Mayor said a commercial complex with an out lay of Rs 5.5 crore would come up in a vacant plot located in the premises of old bus station.

He exuded confidence of developing city as a smart city by creating required infrastructure as per the norms.

Later, the MLA distributed old-age pensions and ration cards for eligible beneficiaries. TDP leaders P Nani, Rajasimhulu, K Praveen and
others were present.
