Tirupati: The foundation stone for the construction of `National Science Museum’ which will come up near Alipiri area here will be laid by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu along with G Sathish Reddy, Scientific Advisor to the Defence Minister, on Wednesday.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday evening, the Chief Minister said that the Science Museum will also include a planetarium the construction of which will be completed in two years. Sathish Reddy will act as its chief patron.

Naidu said that plans are afoot to develop an industrial corridor linking Tirupati, Sri City and Naidupeta as part of the East Coast Industrial Corridor between Vizag and Chennai.

He said the fibre grid which is in progress will be ready in two months for providing internet facility along with phone at a nominal cost of Rs 149 per month.

The five-day ISC meeting will help create a congenial atmosphere and accelerate the government efforts to turn the pilgrim city as an educational hub also, he said.
