Visakhapatnam: The Kancharapalem police on Wednesday arrested a final engineering student Y Nikhil on alleged charges of raping three girls after blackmailing them with the video clips that he had filmed during fake documentary film shooting. The victims in their complaint told the police that Nikhil in the guise of making trial pictures, took some working shoots of the girls, captured them in nude and later made them fulfill his sexual desires by blackmailing them that he would upload the nude clips into social networking sites.

However, Nikhil’s parents claimed that their son was framed by the girls when he refused to give the money demanded by the girls.Sources said about two months ago Nikhil befriended a girl through his friend and found that she was interested in taking up acting as a career. He invited her for a photo shoot saying that semi-nude pictures were must to impress the movie producers.

When the girl was changing her dress for photo shoot, Nikhil had clicked her nude photos with his mobile phone camera, blackmailed and fulfilled his sexual desires by promising her to delete them. However, Nikhil didn’t remove the nude photos and he had allegedly raped her several times by repeating the same threat.

Recently, the girl’s fiancé came to know about the episode and suggested her to approach the police. On Tuesday, the girl lodged a complaint with Kancharapalem police and soon two more girls followed her alleging the same complaint.Inspector of Kancharapalem RVSS Sekhar Rao said that they registered cases against Nikhil under Sections 366,376,354 C&D, 506 IPC, and 66(E) of IT Act and sent the victims for medical tests.

The police sent Nikhil and the girls pictures taken together to forensic laboratory for testing its authenticity .
However, Nikhil parents were firm and alleged that the girls demanded Rs 80,000 from Nikhil and when he refused, the girl, along with two others, lodged a complaint.
