Rajamahendravaram: MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary on Wednesday said that efforts will be made to sanction loans to people from Kapu community from Kapu Corporation. He took part on the loan distribution programme held in city where loans worth of Rs One crore was distributed to 50 beneficiaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Gorantla called upon Kapu youth and students to excel economically by making use of loans. He advised the youth to keep distance from bad habits.Mayor Pantam Rajani Sesha Sai stressed on the need for strengthening of Kapu community with the help loans being given by the Kapu Corporation and advised students to excel in their careers by making use of loans and told the Kapu Corporation to sanction more loans to Kapu youth and students.

She explained that the government is making efforts uplift the poor people in all communities by setting up corporations and federations. Though the State is going through financial crisis, she said that the Chief Minister is implementing welfare as well as development programmes.

AP Kapu Corporation director, Yerra Venugopal Rayudu stated that he is striving hard for the development of all sections in the community by sanctioning loans to youth, women and students.He explained that 400 Kapu students have been selected for education in abroad and 1,000 units have been sanctioned to 300 groups. He maintained that the steps are being taken to make the sanction of loans more liberal.He praised the Chief Minister for his efforts in development of Kapu community.
