Bhimavaram: An Electronic Communication Engineering (ECE) student got the US patent for his research on the Brain-Computer Interference (BCI), which gathers the information of dreams in the human.
ECE final year student of Bhimvaram SRKR Engineering College, Muttukuri Rajasekhar has conducted the research to gather information about the dreams in the human brain. The research named Brain-Computer Interference (BCI) records the dreams of the brain while a human is asleep.
Rajasekhar designed wireless sensors to give commands to the computer to record the brain activities while sleeping.
These sensor will record the dreams of the human brains while asleep. He designed a Remote Patient Monitoring System (RPMS) which can be useful in the medical field to perform various clinical treatments. This system will be helpful in the rural areas where no internet or medical facility available.
The RPMS can work with a mobile and if a person put the mobile on his body and connect it to the Doctor’s number, the doctor could be able to get results for about 90 heath problems.
This information can help the doctors to get the instant results of the patient's clinical examination.
Rajasekhar has linked up the kit directly to the satellite and it will send the information through orbit space internet device to its destination. He got the prestigious US patent for his BCI after spending Rs.15 lakhs which bear by the Hewlett-Packard Company.

The HP has assisted him Rs.2 lakhs to take up the research. However, he spent Rs.3 lakhs for his research. Rajasekhar said to given lectures in various seminars also succeeded in another research as well. He conducted research on the translation of various languages through eyeglasses. He inserted a minicomputer through a chip in between the eyeglasses and the eye.
He explained that if any person uses this chip enabled minicomputer to the eyeglasses, he can get the translation of 90 languages by giving a command. This kit costs him Rs 8,000 only. Senior IAS officer Udayalakshmi who has witnessed the research results at Amaravathi has commended Rajasekhar. NRSC Director YVN Krishna Murthy, who visited SRKR Engineering College in Bhimavaram last month also appreciated him.
The noted Software company TCS has selected another project of Rajasekhar as best project in the Country and gave Rs.20, 000 as a cash prize.
Rajasekhar, who hails from Valaparla village in Marturu mandal of Prakasham district got distinction in his secondary education. He got first prizes in the District Science fares. His parents Venugopal and Prabhavathi, who are teachers in Prakasham district encouraged him to take up various projects. The SRKREC principal G Pardhasaradi Varma has extended all assistance to conduct the research.
