16 students selected at campus interviews

Vijayawada: Glenwood Systems, a Chennai-based company, conducted campus interviews at Potti Sriramulu College of Engineering and Technology, Vijayawada, and selected 16 students, said Dr K Nageshwar Rao, principal, on Wednesday. He said that G Anand, HR Glenwood Systems, conducted interviews for B Tech, MBA students.
In all, 16 students were selected after programming test, group discussion and HR interview. The selected B Tech students were recruited as software engineers and the MBA students were recruited as business development managers.
They would be paid 2.7 lakh per annum, he said. Dr K Nageshwar Rao, said that the students studying management course were given training as per the present requirement of the industry from the first year.
Seminars and special training would be conducted to bring out the hidden talent from them. C Mallikarjuna Rao, president, G Mallaiah, general secretary, Manikanta, training and placement officer, S Praveen, Asst Prof MBA and others present.
